The Annual Report gives a concise overview on the achievements of the Humboldt project within its third project year. Beside an update of the scientific and technical results the Humboldt Training activities are introduced. Furthermore, three Humboldt Application Scenarios are portrayed: Atmosphere, European Risk Atlas (ERiskA) and Forest. Experience Reports on the several Conferences Humboldt was participating in complete the Chapter about the development of the Humboldt User Community. Finally, the upcoming steps for the final project year are presented.

This Annual Report concerns the second project year. It contains information about the activities of the Humboldt consortium and the technical, scientific and cost-related results achieved so far. Moreover, it informs about the Mid Term Call and presents two scenarios in detail: Protected Areas and Ocean. Another topic is the development of the Humboldt User Community.

This Annual Report introduces the Humboldt project to the broad audience and gives a concise overview of the first project year: It shows the general activities as well as the scientific and technical results achieved so far, portrays two scenarios (Urban Planning and Boarder Security) and presents the Humboldt Consortium and the User Community.

22nd July 2010 HUMBOLDT Open Day: Data Harmonisation in Action
The HUMBOLDT Consortium invites you to the HUMBOLDT Open Day on September 28th, 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal. There, you will get an insight into the main outcomes and achievements of the project which has now entered its final phase. In co-operation with the VESTA-GIS project and co-located with a NATURESDIPlus Training Conference, the HUMBOLDT Open Day will present to you the feasibility and advantages of Spatial Data Infrastructures based on software tools and processes for data harmonisation. Host for both events is the Instituto Geográfico Português (IGP) from Portugal.

Feedback on Humboldt@INSPIRE 2010: Scenario Evaluation
Your feedback is very important for us in order to reveal different point of views about the Humboldt Framework and its associated scenarios by INSPIRE, GMES and related communities who are not directly involved in the Humboldt project.
